Report of Hong Kong Tourism

Hong Kong is an attractive tourist place, which attracts millions of tourists from different areas. However, there are many aspects need to be improved:

Hong Kong is high populated areas, which gives rise to high traffic congestion and crowded environment. Luckily, Hong Kong has good infrastructure which smooth out the seriousness of traffic congestion.

According to authorized statistics, the indoor air conditioned temperature in public is the lowest in the world. So that, Hong Kong government advertise the temperature should be kept at 25 degree.

Furthermore, tourists complaints are on increasing trend due to corruption between shops and tourist agents, for example, cash rebates. In the meantime, the blacklists of those shops are distributed to tourists when arrived at Hong Kong.

On the other hand, Hong Kong still stands high position in tourist centre due to the following:

1. Many famous branded shops can be founded in HK, such as Central and Tsimshatsui.
2. Various kinds of dishes from different country, we can find Thai, Japanese, Italian, French, Indian cuisines in Hong Kong, especially delicious Chinese food.
3. Wide variety of products in terms of price, class, country and design etc.
4. No sales tax is levied in Hong Kong.
5. Safe place
6. Night life with sophisticated place, such as Lan Kwai Fong with long service hours till mid-night.
7. No foreign exchange restriction

I would like to recommend the following measure to reinforce our strengths:
1. Set up more tourist centre on each MTR and railway station
2. Build up more tourist spots.
3. Plan more interesting route to countryside and hiking
