Directions

Here is the example of giving directions that we did in class.

Here are the directions for how to get to my office. It’s quite complicated but you should be ok! First catch the MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui. Don’t take the first exit from the station; instead stay in the subway until exit H8 and then go up to the street level. At the exit turn right and then take the first left. You will see an alley between two buildings. Walk down that until the end. At the end you will get to a lane where there are often illegally parked cars blocking the narrow road. You might see a traffic warden there! Next you will come out on to a main road which you have to cross over. There is a zebra crossing, but the pedestrian traffic lights are very slow, so it is probably quicker to go up over the footbridge. Rather than going down on the other side, you might as well stay on the walkway as it is more convenient than going down to the pavement again. Continue on it until you get to my building which it enters on the first floor. Take the lift to the sixth floor. My office is on the left when you come out of the lift.

Write your own directions in a new post.
